Custom Keyboard pg4
It took a while to find the DPDT (or DPST) switches I needed, I know have some on the way, in the mean time I decided to make a Printed Circuit Board because of the amount of wiring required.

I will make the board after I get the switches to make sure everything fits, but just to see if the wiring would work I started drawing.

To make it more legible I downloaded a number of schematic programs to help me, but my plan is too complex for them, so I drew my own using
Express PCB editor.  (free but is designed so you can buy PCBs from their company.$$$!)
It is mostly straight forward, the ribbon cable attaches to the solder pads at the top, despite the ratnest, I still need about 6 jumpers to cross the CB but I can live with that.  The one bottleneck at the upper middle may have to be changed, and another jumper added, in case I don't have enough room.   As I am typing I just noticed an error, a trace is missing at the numeric keypad.

That is it for now,  I will utilize the trackball mouse's CB for that part.

When it gets done I will post the finished pictures.
