| Self Portrait. X10 wireless camera. (camera is 1 foot from mirror) For fun (my wife thinks I am insane) I have it taped on the top of a RC tank, I can be in another room and drive the tank, while watching (first person) through the camera. The camera and antenna etc. are small. This picture is probably bigger than real size on your monitor. It uses 12 volts so for this image I plugged it into a battery pack of AA batteries. I haven't tried camera batteries yet, but the AAs have lasted during months of playing. The system has an optional USB frame grabber. (X-Ray vision) I have captured .AVIs with it, but I was losing a good number of frames doing it. (win98SE) I haven't tried it yet with or ME yet. Supposidly it will pump out 15FPS @ 320x240. Oh yea, it also has sound, the possibilities are endless. A friend of mine has one overlooking his kid, so they can monitor from afar. |
